Rubicon High

Rubicon High is a fully upholstered bed built from soft, rounded forms: a tall headboard divided into plump tufted panels stands behind a thick, pillowy base with curved corners. The headboard is wider than the bed frame, giving the mattress a generous, cushioned backdrop.

Its plush profile makes a calm, inviting centerpiece for a primary bedroom, at home in a light, airy space or a warm, textured one. Choose fabric or leather, a fixed slatted base or a lift-up storage base, and one of five mattress sizes.

• Plywood structure wrapped in polyurethane foam
• Padding of eco-friendly, open-cell polyurethane foam
• Orthopedic slatted bed base
• Two base versions: a fixed slatted base that can be set at four different heights, or a lift-up base that raises in one movement to reveal storage inside the bed frame
• Upholstered in fabric or leather; the covering is fixed, not removable
• Leather versions are finished with Nicoline's Cod.03 stitching; fabric versions have no stitched seams
• A mixed covering, combining more than one material, is available on request at extra cost
• Black feet; the base sits about 0.8" (2 cm) off the floor
• Mattress not included; a coordinating bedroom bench and roll cushions are offered as separate accessories
