Pigalle

Pigalle stacks five hand-blown art glass shades into a sculptural floor lamp that reads like a column of smooth river stones. The top and bottom pieces are made with the Venetian balloton technique, which gives the glass a faceted diamond relief, while the pieces in between have a matte, acid-etched surface in three soft pearly tones.

Switched on, the glass gives off a gentle, even glow rather than a harsh beam. Place it beside a sofa or lounge chair with rounded lines, in a living room corner, a bedroom or an entry where it can be seen from every side.
