Designed by Philippe Tabet for the Italian brand Pianca, the Rada bed is defined by soft, unbroken curves. Its padded headboard tilts back in a relaxed arc and flows down into a slim upholstered frame that rests on fine metal feet, giving the whole bed a light, almost weightless look. It is a refined choice for a modern bedroom where you want comfort without visual bulk.

Details

  • Design: Philippe Tabet for Pianca.
  • Headboard: made in two heights, low and high (36" to 40" / 92–102 cm tall); padded with polyurethane foam and wrapped in a fixed, non-removable cover in fabric or leather.
  • Cover options: Pianca fabrics (including its Green Collection), leathers and synthetic leathers – for example Fenice or Velours fabric, Doge or Nabuk leather, and Artepelle or Extrema AU synthetic leather. Pianca notes that some cover choices carry limitations, so ask us what applies.
  • Frame & feet: metal inner frame and slender metal feet that join a cast aluminum alloy base.
  • Base finishes: metal in a matt or glossy finish (Pianca tones include Bronzo/bronze, Ottone Anticato/antique brass, Champagne, Cromo/chrome and Titanio/titanium), or matt lacquer in white (Bianco) or black (Nero).
  • Size: US Queen – for a 60" x 80" Queen mattress (Pianca mattress size 153 x 200 cm); overall bed about 65¾" W x 90" D (167 x 229 cm).
