Strauss

Strauss is a modular sofa system from Nicoline with a clean, low-slung profile, slim metal legs and deep seats. Its hinged backrests fold inward or lift up, changing both the back height and how deep the seat sits, so the same sofa can suit upright conversation or a long, relaxed evening.

Choose a stand-alone sofa or build out a larger layout with an angled corner, chaise ends, open-end seats and marble-topped table sections set between the seats. Every modular side is finished too, so a piece still looks complete when it ends a layout.

• Frame: plywood and solid fir on an MDF base, reinforced with metal
• Seat support: reinforced elastic webbing
• Padding: open-cell polyurethane foam (eco-friendly) in varying densities
• Back cushions filled with goose down
• Upholstered in fabric or leather; the back cushion covers can be taken off; combined coverings available on request
• Hinged backrests that fold inward to adjust back height and seat depth
• Metal legs in Gunmetal, Satin Brass or Antique Bronze
• Table elements topped in White Carrara marble as standard, or in Emperador or Black Marquinia marble on request
• Topstitched seams as standard; contrast-color stitching on request
• All modular sides fully finished
• Not available as a sleeper
